The Vivian Girls attempted to have a 'deep, dark' brand where the would look all sad and serious and their songs weren't abt fun, sun, cats, weed, chillwaves, or anything fun like going 2 the mall and shopping at Forever21. Well, i'm not even sure because I haven't really even heard 1 of their songs that I can remember but it's the sorta thing where u already know what they sound like so it is just whatevz.

If ur a girl buzzband, and maltstream girls can't get in2 ur music, there is a fundamental problem with ur buzzband business model.

Anyways, since Best Coast got 'popular', every single lofi band does its best to be 'chill' and fun. That's what I gather from this EXCLUSIVE still of this upcoming video by the Vivian Girls. Going 4 the whole sexi retro vintage lolita thing. That's chill. I can get behind that.

Now they might have more upside than Best Coast bc they won't make the same branding/outspoken mistakes that she did....
