Apparently, there was some 'monetized rave' in Los Angeles called Electric Daisy Carnival that drew 185,000 people to the Los Angeles Coliseum. I think this is a new business model, since there are so many old/unused stadiums in Los Angeles, and so many teens who want to get into the alt/electro scene. Wonder how much money they made from this event. Usually they just care about profits, and don't really care about security/facilities management. I feel bad for the wannabe-ravers whose parents read the newspaper and then will never let them go to their local movie theatre just cuz things are so crazie.

Seriously, tho... some1 is gonna die at 1 of these things within the next 2 years based on 'the craziness' of this video.

The video opens with tons of alts trying to break down a fence/squeeze through an opening, then they end up trampling eachother. Sorta weird to see so many LA ravers/tweens in this 'life or death' situation. Would expect this if they were waiting in line for 'food/survival', but they seem to be 'chasing the party.' Feel sad for this girl for getting her face jacked up.'

Can't believe so many alts fought with cops. I am so used to hanging around with higher-level alts that I don't understand the 'class struggles' and stuff like that going on with formative alts. Feel relieved that I am not trying to find my identity at electro raves, searching for something more than just a Hot Topic vibe at a local mall.
